NEW DASH BOARD MEMBER, HOLLY LANG!
Holly Lang is an Atlanta-based writer and editor who has authored several books, including Dr. Dre: A Biography (Greenwood Publishing Group), The Notorious B.I.G.: A Biography (Greenwood Publishing Group), How to Procrastinate (Knock Knock Publishing), and the forthcoming Goodnight Girl. She was the founding editor of the Atlanta-based Pine Magazine, an award-winning online-only news, culture and arts magazine, where she acted as both the editorial and art director. She is now the director of community benefits for Piedmont Healthcare, and oversees the system’s programs for vulnerable community members.
Holly is an avid consumer of the arts, with a particular affinity for pieces that expresses the tension of social and economic change throughout our culture. She is also an active collector, and is especially fond of protest photography, portraiture, anthropomorphism and boats. She’s yet to find the piece that fully encapsulates all four, though she keeps her hopes high.
